Extension move-up appointments and consultations. For new guests, please start with the consultation.

We fit sewn in wefts, and only sewn in wefts

There are a lot of extension methods and we have chosen one. A sewn in weft is attached to a small braided or beaded base that sits flat against the head, and the hair is sewn onto that base rather than glued or bonded to individual strands. No heat, no glue and no keratin bonds touch your own hair.

The reason we stay with one method is that it takes real repetition to fit wefts well. A flat base, correct tension and the right placement are the difference between extensions that disappear into your hair and extensions you can feel all day.

It starts with a consultation, always

Extensions are never booked blind. We need to see your own hair in person to judge density, length and how much your hair can carry, and we need to match color in daylight. The hair also has to be ordered to match you, so there is a gap between the consultation and the fitting.

At the consultation we will tell you honestly if extensions are the wrong answer. Very fine or fragile hair sometimes cannot support the weight, and adding it anyway causes damage that takes far longer to undo than it took to create.

What the fitting day looks like

Set aside a long appointment. The base is created first, then the wefts are sewn in row by row, and then the whole head is cut and blended so the extensions and your own hair read as one length. That blending step is the one people underestimate, and it is what stops extensions looking like a separate layer sitting on top.

You leave with the hair styled, and your stylist will show you how to brush and wash it before you go.

Move ups, maintenance and taking them out

As your own hair grows the base moves away from the scalp, so wefts need to be taken down and refitted on a regular cycle. Skipping that is what causes tension and matting at the base. Your stylist will book the next move up before you leave.

At home, brush from the ends upwards with a soft bristle brush, dry the base properly rather than sleeping on it wet, and tie hair loosely at night. When you want them out, they are unpicked. Nothing is dissolved or pulled.

Extension pricing depends on how much hair is needed and is confirmed at your consultation, with the current structure on the service menu. Many guests color their own hair at the same appointment cycle, so read hair color if you are planning both.
