A quick add on rather than a separate trip

Most of our waxing is booked onto the end of an appointment someone is already coming in for. A brow, lip or chin wax takes a few minutes at the end of a color or a cut, which saves you a separate journey for something small.

You can also book it on its own if that suits you better. Either way, tell us when you book rather than asking on the day, because it needs a few minutes added to the appointment.

Brows are shaped, not just tidied

A brow wax here starts with looking at the shape against your face rather than just clearing anything outside the current line. Where the brow should start, where it should peak and where it should end are decided first, and then the wax follows that plan.

If you have been growing your brows out, say so at the start. It is easy to take hair off and slow to get it back, so we would rather take less and have you happy than take too much.

Getting your skin ready

Leave retinol, acids and strong exfoliants alone for a couple of days beforehand, and stay out of prolonged sun. All three make skin more likely to lift or react. Hair needs a little length for the wax to grip, so resist tweezing in the week before.

Tell us if you are using any prescription skin treatment. Some of them make waxing a bad idea altogether, and it is much better to know before we start.

Afterwards

Expect some pinkness for a short while, and longer if your skin is sensitive. Keep heat, heavy makeup and swimming away from the area for the rest of the day, and skip the sauna.

If you are heading somewhere that matters, book the wax a couple of days ahead rather than the same morning, so any redness has settled.

Booking it

Waxing is added to your existing appointment with whichever stylist you already see, so there is nobody separate to book with. The team is on the team page and current pricing is on the service menu.
